Question:

Hi. I have a 2017 Volvo XC90 with flush roof rails. I need a rack system with the lowest profile and would like one with less wind noises more oval/wedge versus square. I am fairly certain the Inno Wedge 660 in black preferably is the way I want to go for the carrier. I am currently struggling with determining the rack system. Would you be able to help me with this? For your 2017 Volvo XC90 I highly recommend the Thule WingBar Evo System that consists of part # TH711420 for the WingBar Evo Crossbars in Black, part # TH710601 for the Evo rails, and part # TH186028 for the Fit Kit.

This is an extremely aerodynamic, low-profile setup that's going to be really quiet on the road because of its oval shaped bars coupled with the WindDiffuser strips inside the T-slots that are specifically built to reduce wind noise and drag. I also really like the flush design where the crossbars don't extend past the mounting feet. This creates a really sleek, OEM-like appearance on the vehicle (see attached image).

This system will work perfectly with the Inno Wedge 660 Cargo Box # INBRM660BK that you referenced.
