Will Tow Hooks Need to be Removed to Install Front Hitch in 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Updated 02/03/2020 | Published 02/01/2020 >
Question:
My GC has tow hooks which extend thru the front fascia see pictures - so the tow hooks should not have to be removed for the Curt front hitch, correct? Also, should I order model with or without tow hooks?

To answer your question about which front mounted hitch option you should order for your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, there is actually only one that fits, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31033.
That said, your tow hooks do need to be removed in order to install this hitch and your tow hooks do need to be bolted on (as opposed to welded) to install. I have added a link to the installation instructions for you to check out as well.
