Question:
We are towing a 2020 Airstream Flying Cloud 25 ft Weighing 5500# Our Tow Vehicle is a 2015 Nissan Titan. Do we need the low speed brake adjustment that is a feature on the DL-100 and not the DL-50? The price difference is considerable. Thank you,

The Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller part # 335DL-100 and Tuson DirecLink Lite Trailer Brake Controller part # 335DL-50 are both excellent options The best option for you will be dependent on where you will be doing most of your driving. If you find yourself frequently traveling though town in stop and go traffic then the former which has the low speed brake adjustment feature would be a really good option but not necessarily required. If you are driving in stop and go traffic without the low speed brake adjustment then odds are the trailer is going to be jerky more of like a push/pull feeling which can also wear out the brakes faster. If you find yourself mainly on the highway in open road then the low speed brake adjustment feature would not be utilized as much so you can save some cash and go with the latter.
In summary, it all just comes down to comfort and where you will be traveling. Please note, you will also need the Tekonsha Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3050-S which is for a 2015 Nissan Titan so you don't have to splice into wires on the vehicle.
