Should The 12V Black Wire On The Tuson DirecLink Be Wired To Constant 12V Power?
Question:
Should the 12V power wire Black Wire be connected to constant 12V power or an ignition controlled source for switched 12V power? The installation manual is not clear on which to use.

Hello Kevin. In regards to the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller # 335DL-100, the black 12v wire does need to be connected to the battery for constant 12v power. They also recommend that the white wire be connected to the negative battery terminal for proper ground.
