Can the cover be pryed open with the tailgate closed and locked

Just like anything that we leave out in the open, if someone really wants to get into it, they'll find a way. With that being said, the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK48120 comes with automatically latching panels to create a secure truck bed when tailgate is closed and locked. The MX4 has latches under the cover that cannot be accessed with the truck's tailgate closed and locked and each panel individually latches down when you fold the cover to the closed position. Since this mounts inside the bed rails, there really aren't great places for them to try to get inside your truck bed, so it's going to be more secure than a tonneau cover that mounts on top of the bed rails.
The BAKFlip MX4 # BAK48120 is designed to fit on the 2014 - 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5-1/2 Foot Bed and the 2014 - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 5-1/2 Foot Bed. If you have a different truck, please let me know and I can help you find the correct BAKFlip MX4 for your truck.
