Question:
I have a 2012 Ram 2500. It’s a regular bed not a flatbed and I have the Bandw turnover system installed. I know this hitch is supposed to be for flatbeds but since I have the system wouldn’t it still attach??? I have bigger than stock tires so I need a hitch that sits 10-11 inches in height which makes this perfect.

Because the # BWRVK3050 is designed for use on a flat bed, it's designed to sit in the recessed box found on trucks with flat beds installed on them. Because of that, the portion of the hitch designed to fit into the Turnover Ball hitch itself wouldn't be long enough for the hitch to be secured in your truck. Even if it would fit, you wouldn't have the required 5-6 inches of clearance between the underside of the trailer loft and the top of the bedsides, which could cause the loft to collide with the bed side.
Your best bed would be to use a regular Companion Hitch like # BWRVK3400-5W for a short bed truck or # BWRVK3500-5W and raising the ride height of your fifth wheel. There are several ways of raising the ride height, the easiest way to to swap the springs to the top of the axle beam if they're currently underslung. For a 2-3/8 diameter axle beam, use # K71-384-00 or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch axle. Going this route would gain you about the axle diameter in ride height. Going with smaller diameter wheels/tires would also probably be necessary.
