For the above Hollywood rack for two Fat tire ebikes 4inch tires, when in the tilt position, can you drop the tailgate on a Chevy Avalanche?

Expert Reply:
With the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR tilted you'd have some access to the truck bed but you wouldn't be able to fully drop the tailgate.
But if you also bought the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y02483 you would be able to drop the tailgate. This allows the bike rack to swing out and away from the rear of the vehicle. See attached picture and review video.
