Question:
2019 Chevrolet Colorado zr2. looking to keep a level load with this product. 750 pounds is the load every Saturday. snowmobile plus small rack and ramp. so my weight will not very. i have been reading about clearance issues ras spring real close to leaf spring bundle clamp and a bracket that comes dangerously close to a rear shock. note this truck is a zr2 also read about having to change shackles. have these issues been addressed and will these fit a zr2. i originally was going to put air bags / the no drill kit from firestone. they said it did not fit zr2 is this true. when i look at the firestone kit on your web page it does not say anything about the zr2. shocks are very different on this model. i am leaning toward the ras system. please help

I spoke with RoadActive Suspension and confirmed that the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS4617 is indeed a fit for a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. In regards to fitment, RoadActive was not aware of any shock clearance issues but they did state that you would have to change out the shackles which are included so no worries here. That said, there are adjustment that can be made during installation which should then alleviate any clearance issues.
As noted, the Firestone Sport-Rite Air Helper Springs are not a fit for the ZR2 models. The only other option aside from the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit is the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-212-40 which are a great option for leveling but only engage once the threshold of the suspension is reached. The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit is your best option and what I would use personally.
