Question:

Like the videos. I do not care for the latest rack option you sent. looks like it would have trouble getting the first bike in place with the spare tire.

The Kuat Sherpa part # SH22B is going to easily fit past the rear spare of your 2012 Toyota RAV4 as it has a distance of 11 inches from the center of its hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier.

Your Jamis Aragon bike would also fit well on this rack too so it's a really solid choice!

The Kuat Sherpa part # SH22B is going to easily fit past the rear spare of your 2012 Toyota RAV4 as it has a distance of 11 inches from the center of its hitch pin hole to the closest part of the carrier. For lightweight, easy on the wallet, and has clearance for your RAV4 we have the Thule Helium Pro # TH9042PRO that I think would be exactly what you'd want. It has a pretty unique design but it works really well and only weighs 19 lbs! I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

I have another option you might like, but typically it's hard to get a lightweight, easy to load, and inexpensive bike rack all in one as normally you only get to pick two of those three options... The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z is reasonably light at 34 lbs, is easy to load, and relatively inexpensive as well. I attached a video for it as well. Let me know if you want to explore other options!
