Question:

Hi there. I am in search of rear suspension support springs for my 2019 Ram 1500. Looking at both the timbrens and sumosprings. What is the difference. Does one provide better support/strength than the other? Which do you recommend? Thank you.

The primary difference between the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DQ and the SumoSprings # SSR-307-47 for the rear axle of your 2019 Ram 1500 is their overall strength. The Timbrens feature a much denser rubber construction and have the higher 8,600 pound weight capacity to prove it, while the SumoSprings offer less capacity with a 1,500 pound limit but will be a bit more comfortable, especially when riding empty.

So your choice between the two options really comes down to application. If you will be towing often or plan to typically have a full bed of cargo the Timbre Suspension System # TDR1500DQ is the better solution for rear suspension support.

If you only tow occasionally though and only haul heavier items from time to time, the SumoSprings # SSR-307-47 will work better as it's not going to cut into your everyday ride comfort.

I have attached a couple short video reviews on these springs along with the written installation instructions for both that you can check out as well.
