Can BAK BAKFlip G2 Tonneau Cover be Folded Up When Fifth Wheel Towing

Question:
I have a BAK BAKFlip # BAK26330 installed on my 2020 Ford F350 short bed. Can I fifth wheel tow with the cover folded up against the back of my truck cab?

Expert Reply:
BAK doesn't recommend doing so. During sharp turns, the corners of your fifth wheel could possibly contact the folded up cover which would damage it and possibly your fifth wheel. BAK recommends removing the top before fifth wheel towing. Remove the end of the two props from their sockets on the bed side rails, then unscrew both the black knobs on the underside of the panel closest to the rear of the cab. You'll be able to lift the cover off at that point.
