Recommended Wiring to Power Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System

I’m having a complete Blue Ox flatbtow system installed in my motorhome, including a Patriot braking system. However, all of my 12v power ports only work when the ignition is on. Is there a cable that can connect to my USB plug, which is always hot, in my car and then to the Patriot ?

Hey Danny, thanks for reaching out!
For your application I recommend installing the 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 which connects directly to your battery and gives the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR the power connection it needs.
It isn't recommended to siphon power off of a USB port because you could overdraw it. The Roadmaster 12V kit is designed for a portable brake system though so it will work great for your setup!
