What is the Working Load Limit for the E-Track System

What is the tork ratio lbs per foot Is there a proper procedure to strap product down? Or is it until tight around product? Straps used on this system Can they pull the etrack away from the wall? What is the main support of the etrack system? We have over 1000 units and would like information.

Expert Reply:
The working load limit for the E-Track system like the part # E19148 that you referenced is 2,000 lbs. There isn't a set method required for tightening a load to the E-Track. Basically you would want to use a properly rated strap for the weight of the item and use your discretion to secure it in whatever manner works best. For a way to secure a strap to the E-Track you would want the E-Track D-Ring part # E59143.
Depending on how the E-Tracks were attached to the wall and the material the wall is made from you could pull the tracks away from the wall. If properly installed and used below the capacity of the E-Track this shouldn't be a problem.
The strength of the E-Track comes from its 12 gauge steel construction.
