Is Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Needed for Flat Towing 2020 Jeep Wrangler with Push Button Start

Question:

I watched the video for the key switch ignition and all makes sense. I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a push button start and am not sure how to hook up the blue wire from the relay switch. Please advise.

The Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay # 88400 that you referenced actually isn't needed for your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the push button start. In order to ensure proper operation of the signal lights and braking system you instead need the Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490.

The tow instructions do not end with turn the engine off. I assume we turn engine completely off after shifting transmission into park?

I looked up your owners manual online for your 2020 Jeep Wrangler and on page 417 they do have you turn the engine off at step 10. This is the second time as they also have you do that at step 4. You don't shift into park until step 12 once you have already confirmed that the transfer case is in true neutral. I recommend looking at that page again and taking it slowly step by step.
