Does it matter if you store closed up or should be set up to store

When storing an A-frame style pop up it's generally recommend to store it in the up position if the trailer is going to see heavy snow fall since the snow would fall off of it mostly. But otherwise it's best to store it down to limit exposure of the side of the camper to sun and wind. This mostly benefits the windows and seals.

The Classic Accessories Cover part # CA80039 would be the correct size for your Aliner Ranger since it measures 12 feet in length.
