Question:

Hi!! Can you please recommend which trailer hitch for my 2019 Audi Q5? I may tow at some point but really just need to use my bike rack on the new vehicle for now. Thanks!

For your 2019 Audi Q5 I highly recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Trailer Hitch # 76183 because it offers slightly better ground clearance than the alternatives (you don't have to worry about your bike rack hitting the ground when backing out of the driveway) and the 2" receiver isn't quite as tucked back behind the rear bumper as the others, which offers easier access to the hitch pin hole for mounting the rack.

The Class III hitch provides plenty of capacity for a bike rack (or other accessory) with a 750 pound tongue weight limit and its 5,000 pound towing weight capacity will let you tow up to the vehicle's limits without a problem in the future. I have attached a couple images of the hitch installed so you can see exactly how it will look on your Audi, along with the full install video that you can follow along with.

If/when you do decide to tow a trailer you will also need to add a wiring harness. For this the Tekonsha Wiring Kit # 119250KIT will work great and connects in a unique way that does not require you to splice into the tail light circuit wires on your vehicle. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights.
