It sure will Terry and congrats on the new SUV! The Curt Hitch item # C58GJ does indeed fit the new 2026 Audi Q5 Sportback.

The Curt item # C58GJ is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver, a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs. It's going to work great with a trailer or hauling accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier.

I really like the Curt hitch item # C58GJ because the crosstube installs completely behind the rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed. This not only looks better but helps with ground clearance.

Terry, two items to get are a rubber plug to dress up the receiver (no matter what, the receiver will rust a bit and looks shabby), and an unzip tool to release the plastic tabs that hold the bumper cap and wheel well arches on. Using a credit card or other plastic shim may break the loop at one of its ends, so that tab won’t fully hold the plastics in place. Made that mistake with my ‘14 Q5. Not this ‘20, though. I did not find it necessary to electrically disconnect the rear cap. Swing it aside and set it on a box or milk crate to give plenty of access for the install. You’ll laugh at how lightweight the hydro formed aluminum factory bumper bar is. I haul a dirt bike. The extension of the carrier does not hit my steep driveway when loaded, just so you know that there is good clearance. This is the only receiver I’ll use - with only the 2” receiver and nothing else showing.

@JeredH I wanted to ask if you are aware that the tow hitch installation on the 2026 Audi Q5 Sportback requires removal of the rear impact bar which does not get reinstalled with the tow hitch. After several attempts at the etrailer partner garage the model you recommended E94CR wouldn't fit. We contacted etrailer on this and apparently this model you shipped was no longer in stock, and we got little help. I researched Audi and found out that OEM tow hitches on this model replace the rear impact plate. So I assume the same holds true for your aftermarket hitch. It installed easily when the impact plate was removed and not reinstalled. Id like your input on this please. Thanks.

@Terry Hey Terry. The hitch's that install behind the rear bumper do require removal of the bumper support beams. The hitch's crossbar takes the place of them as far as safety and support.
