How Do RV Water Pumps Know When to Turn Off and On
Published 10/11/2019 >
Question:
I am using this for a somewhat unique application. Wondering if this will automatically turn on/pressurize the line when the faucet/valve is opened? Then turn off when faucet is closed? Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:
RV water pumps like the Flow Max RV Fresh Water Pump # LC689054 are designed to pressurize water lines and once the pressure has been met they shut off. So this pump is set for 45 psi which means that any time you open a faucet and relieve the pressure the pump comes on and then once the faucet is closed and 45 psi has been reached the pump shuts off. Based on what you mentioned this would be what you are looking for.
