Question:

On this Advent Air that you say could replace carrier model 68RV14113A does it have a mode on the remote for furnace propane as the carrier unit does a/c, heat pump and furnace mode and I use all of them. How is this A/C rated in comparison to other brands? Thank you

Hey Denise, Advent does have an RV AC unit that has ability to control a furnace as well but it needs to be one like the part # ADV92SR that has a wall thermostat and not the part # ADV32SR that has all of it's controls built into the vent assembly. Advent does not have an ability to have a heat pump added either.

Compared to other brands Advent is a solid choice that is very similar to a Dometic. If you want something that gets the job done and isn't the most expensive this is what you'll want. It's not the fanciest or the quietest but it does what it was designed for.

Thank you for your reply however, I need furnace, a/c and heat strip to replace my current carrier model 68RV14113A. What unit is low profile and will have all the needed functions. I have 2 units currently on my 2010 Tuscany. Thank you, Denise

@DeniseH Advent does have a heat strip available with the part # ADV34QR. I should have mentioned that previously but you had said heat pump which is quite a bit more effective than a heat strip.
