Replacement Tow Bar For Roadmaster Falcon 5250 With Bent Arms

Question:

We have the falcon 5250 ,came with the motor home, I hooked it up and attached my car to it. To get the arms to extend, I had to back up and now the arms will not retract. I have loosen up the little turn knobs but nothing happens.

Thank you for your photo Jim. It does look like the inner arms of your Falcon 5250 got bent somehow. I contacted Roadmaster and there are not replacement inner arms available for the Falcon 5250 anymore or a repair kit because it's an older bar.

I recommend to replace the tow bar with a non-binding tow bar Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain part # RM-422 which will allow you to hook up and unhook on unlevel ground without the arms binding like the Falcon 5250 did. The freedom latch on the bar makes releasing the tension from the bars to easily unhook the towed vehicle.
