Question:

I have a flagstaff 2017 832BHDS. Which stairs are the right fit? would 4 stairs Had a knee replacement and need something easier to climb in and out.

To determine if you are able to replace your 3-step unit with a 4-step unit like # TLA7834, you will need to take a few measurements as RV steps are not custom to the year, make and model of a specific RV.

Measure from the ground to the top of the threshold on your RV to determine how much ground clearance you have. The Torklift Steps require ground clearance between 31 and 42 inches.

The mounting bracket base dimensions for the Torklift GlowSteps are 21-1/2" wide x 14-1/2" tall x 8-1/2" deep so you will also need to measure your RV to make sure your mounting surface is wide enough for the bolt-on mounting bracket base to install. Since these store on the outside of the camper, I recommend the # TLA7509 Torklift pin lock to lock the steps to the bracket.

The TorkLift Scissor Steps allow you to individually adjust the height of each landing gear leg to give you superior stability which I'm sure you'll appreciate. Also, that fourth step being lower and easier to reach will be a major improvement over the 3-step unit you currently have. For even better stability, you may consider adding the TorkLift GlowGuide Handrail # TLA7621 which as a bonus raises the capacity of the steps by 25 lbs.
