Question:

Looking for a trailer hitch for 2020 Ford Explorer. Want a clean look so I know there's going to be a big of fascia trimming needed. Can you tell me how much?

There is a trailer hitch that fits a 2020 Ford Explorer, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e29YR, which is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver, 6,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity.

This hitch will rest neatly underneath your Explorer's bumper to retain its clean appearance, but some slight fascia trimming is required. Just a 3.5" x 4.5" section needs to be trimmed in order for the receiver to be as high as possible which gives it the best ground clearance and appearance. I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out as an installation video for you.

For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # 118599. I also recommend checking out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. It comes with a 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" hitch ball to pair with your trailer's coupler.
