Question:
Hi i really like this suspension. I am building my own offroad caravan tear which will be travelling on a lot off dirt roads. Being in Namibia Africa i dont want to get stranded remotely with some electrical brakes. Is it possible to fit normal brakes with a cable hooked to you coupler, so when the vechile brake the trailer brake. What would you recommend if i need a axle which can handle 2000kg? And wich parts should i order extra for wear and tear. Regards

It sounds like you are referring to surge brakes in which case I do have an option for you to add these to the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # ASR1THDS03. In order to do this you will need the Demco Hydraulic Brake Kit part # 40716-15 and two of the etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K.
The rest of the parts you will need are brake lines, the Titan Hydraulic Brake Lines and Fittings part # T4829900 and a surge brake coupler, the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator part # DM8609502.
