Hi, If the gear box is bad.. and the number marked on it is 151320 is it true that there is no replacement and the entire steps need to be replaced?

Yes, you are correct that the 151320 gear box for your Kwikee Steps is no longer available and the solution is to replace the entire steps. If you had a Kwikee 32 Series Step for example, you would need Lippert Kwikee 32 Series Electric Step # LC372261.
