Question:
How would I use a “tie down” system on expanded metal trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
In order to install a set of e-tracks like the Erickson Horizontal E-Track part # E19148 on a trailer with expanded metal floor you would need to install several backing plates like the E-Track Backing Plate part # BPEZ under the floor for support. The number of backing plates needed will vary depending on the length of the e-track and the amount of weight you have secured to it so you will just need to use your best judgement.
I have attached a list of different e-track lengths for you as well.
