Kayak Carrier for Old Town Predator 13 on Honda Element

Question:
I have a Old Town Predator 13 and would like to carry it on the factory roof rack of my 2008 Honda Element. Will the Malone Megawing work? Other recommendations would be appreciated.

The Malone MegaWing Sit-On-Top Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # MPG207 that you referenced has the weight capacity you'd need and would fit the factory roof rack of your 2008 Honda Element so it would work well for carrying your Old Town Predator 13. It's also a style that allows the kayak to face upright which will be important with the Predator you have which isn't a standard type of kayak.

Malone MegaWing Fishing carrier: Looking at transporting a couple of Feel Free Lure 13.5 fishing kayaks 120lbs each on my converted Easy Loader boat trailer w/ a 2" square bar stock as a cross member. Will the mounting system on the on the carrier fit the 2" bar stock. I assume the carrier would handle the load of the kayak.
