Availability of USA Made Bearings for 2,000 lb Trailer

Question:
Do you carry different quality levels of bearings for small cargo trailers, as i would just as soon not put Chinesium bearings back on my trailer every couple of years.

All of the bearings that we carry, like the Bearing Kit # DL21792, are made overseas and they all have pretty good quality which is reflected by the numerous customer reviews on this product page.
While there are USA made bearings out there but they are much more expensive an, in all reality, bearings experience the most wear when it comes to trailers and are often the first thing that needs to be replaced regardless of where they are made. This is especially true if they aren't cared for properly.
If it's any comfort to you Dexter Axle is a major powerhouse in the axle/hub/bearing industry by the reputation they have built and they use bearings made overseas in their setups.
You can definitely look into purchasing USA made bearings if you'd like but even then you need to make sure that you are checking them every 12 months or 12,000 miles to make sure they are in good working order and they are properly greased. I have attached an FAQ you can reference that has our recommended trailer maintenance schedule to help keep your trailer in great shape. There are things you can add to make maintenance a little easier too like having EZ lube spindles or Bearing Buddy covers.
