Question:
I have a 1972 boat trailer with an Atwood system. I need the master cylinder and shock absorber. Old master part was Wagner/Lockheed FE 57768 and shock was MAECo AVM-12811. Are there replacements? Are their rebuild kits for the master cylinder? Thanks for any help or suggestions you might have.

Thanks so much for the info as well as the photo, but I took a look and there are no replacement parts for the master cylinder and shock you mentioned, which means the best option is going to be a brand new hydraulic brake actuator.
To get the correct actuator you simply need to know if you have hydraulic drum brakes or disc brakes, the GVWR of your trailer, what size hitch ball the coupler needs to accept, and how it needs to mount.
For example, if you had hydraulic drum brakes you may be able to use the Titan Brake Actuator with Manual Lockout # T63FR which has a 7,500 lb capacity, 750 lb tongue weight capacity, accepts a 2" hitch ball, and bolts onto a 3" channel tongue.
Or if you have hydraulic disc brakes and had a larger trailer and boat you may be able to use the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w Drop and Electric Lockout # DM8104311 has a 12,500 lb capacity, 1,250 lb tongue weight capacity, accepts a 2-5/16" hitch ball, and bolts onto a 3" channel tongue.
If you let me know what you need I would be able to recommend some parts for you, or I have added a link to our selection of drum brake actuators and disc brake actuators for you to check out.
