I have a 2016 F-250 with the factory prep package. Id like to find out if there are any differences, other than towing weight and vertical load limit, for DM8550024-18k and DM8550038-21k Length, Width and weight.

As far as the footprint they'd take up in the bed of your truck, and the height go, the dimensions of the 21K # DM8550038 and the 18K # DM8550024 are exactly identical. The 21K model weighs right at 30 lbs more than the 18K (21K is about 320 lbs and the 18K is just shy of 300 lbs). Mechanically speaking, the jaws in the 21K are heavier and thicker, and most of the components of the hitch head are made of a thicker and heavier steel
