Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement latch for TruXedo Deuce 2, Edge, Lo Pro QT, or original TruXedo tonneau covers. Now, this is going to be the latch at the end of your tonneau cover that secures that tonneau cover down and allows you to open it up from your tailgate. We're going to have our latch and the plate there and, also, our spring plate to get that installed.Now, you may need to bend this spring plate a little bit to get it to properly work since it needs a little bit of tension to be put on the spring. You will also have to remove the header stop there and the hardware and re-use that old hardware from your header stop to get this in place. This is what's going to come with our kit here, just the latch plate and latch itself and our spring plate.Now, if you have the Honda Ridgeline, you might need to pick up a different part number, which will be TX1116224 or TX1116724. Both of those are sold separately, and you can find them here at etrailer.com.There's also a lot of other replacement parts for your TruXedo tonneau covers.

This product worked out perfectly and was just what we needed to reinforce our tonneau cover.
So I had to replace my broken latch on my tacoma tonneau cover. The latch was on the left side and when I replaced it, it would not stay closed. I then put it on the right side. It works better than the original setup on the left side. Thank you

I wanted a second latch on my Truxedo Pr X15 cover to make sure it could never come loose on the highway. The latches are a bit hard to find but I found etrailer had them and at a reasonable cost. The latch is a direct fit and probably took me all of two minutes to install. Now I feel comfortable that my cover will stay latched. Shipping and delivery and fast. Thanks etrailer

The extra latch is a great addition to my PR X15 cover for peace of mind. You do have to get used to reaching for both releases to trip them together as you can’t release one and then the other. But I have long arms so it’s not a problem. The latch is just like the one furnished with the cover and works perfectly.
About a week ago driving 60 mph in a strong crosswind my Tonneau Cover came open and was flapping in the wind. I secured it for the remainder of my trip with some ratchet straps.
I bought my truck used with the cover already installed and it only ever had one latch. I just thought that was how it was supposed to be. I had never had an issue with it in 10 years. Upon closer inspection I realized I could/should have a latch on both sides.
I was able to quickly find the right part. Shipping was fast. Install was a breeze. Thank you!

Great customer support, part was installed in under 5-minutes (for both sides) and works perfectly.
Mine has only one hole to mount with the other hole for alignment, however I think it will work one my Chevrolet brand cover.

Yeah bought a 2019 Ford Raptor SCAB that came with a Gator soft cover. I noticed it was missing the clamp on the passenger side so I came to etrailer. I spoke to George and Nathan to ensure it was what I needed. Got it in a short amount of time and chose the cheapest form of shipment. It fits and works perfectly. I don’t understand how others have said this needs a spring? Mine came with the latch and the aluminum piece that gives it the spring action so it works just like the other one.

The company has it all, fair prices, and lightning fast delivery. This is not a complaint but a recommendation. I had a part that was discontinued and I about gave up. I searched etrailer and other sites. Luckily through one last random search I found a aftermarket part that fit perfect. And guess what it was from etrailer. If they would have pulled it up when I put in the discontinued part number as a replacement it would sell alot more parts :) again what a great company!!!

Should have ordered a long time ago.
Parts fit well. Much less expensive than replacing with a new tonneau. Took About 45 min to replace the hardware and new canvas. It's only been on for 2 hours, but very happy so far.
Remove one bolt, replace latch and included spring, tighten up bolt - done. Perfect fit and function.
