Thule Force XT XL on a 2019 Subaru Outback touring wagon. What is the maximum length of the cargo carrier between the front rack to the lifted tailgate?

I believe you are asking about how to find out if you will be able to open the hatch of your 2019 Subaru Outback Touring with the Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6358B installed.

Determining this is very simple; all you need to do is measure from the middle of the front crossbar to the seam between the hatch and the roof. If this measurement is at least 51-1/8 inches you will be able to fully open the hatch of your '19 Outback without any interference. If you take a look at the accompanying diagram it shows the measurement needed for the Force XT cargo box.

@RandyP The Thule Force XT XL roof box fits almost any crossbar style. In order to figure out if it will work and allow you to open the trunk you would need to do the measurements that were mentioned above and use the chart to determine. It will be a measurement from the center of the front crossbar back to the seam between the trunk and the roof. If it is at least 51-1/8" then this will work for you.
