Question:
I have a 16foot cargo trailer that has a 14x5x4.5 rim, can you tell what size lug nuts this has?

Expert Reply:
For a 14" trailer wheel you're most likely looking at a lug nut that threads onto 1/2"-20 lug bolts such as the Lionshead # LHLR103. With that being said this is going to be more dependent on the hub than the wheel itself so I definitely recommend verifying this.
The best way to do this is to simply remove one of the existing nuts and take it up to a local hardware store. They should have various bolts that you can test fit the nut on to determine the thread pitch and diameter it works with.

Good idea but if I could get one lug nut off I’d have the wrench I needed.
