It would probably be more beneficial to have a trailer hitch on the 2007 Ford F-150 because it is going to be the more capable vehicle. For a hitch, the most popular option is # 75506. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver. I have included links to the installation instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you.
Since you will be carrying womens style bikes, I recommend a platform style bike rack, # S64670. This bike rack holds the bikes at the wheels and frame. I have included a link to a video review for you.
You can also use the Helium Pro, # TH9042PRO, but you will also need to use the Tube Top adapter, # Y02531, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
