Comparing the iRV33 and iRV34 Model Stereos

Aside from model number and one “replaces the other”, what is the difference between the irv33 and the irv34?

I reached out to my contact at iRV who sent me the specs for both the iRV33 and the iRV34 # IRV34. The only difference that I could find is that the 34 has a multi zone dual source. Aside from that everything else looked to be the same.

I know a lot of people didn't like the 33 model so it looks like they made some changes so that the 34 model worked better.

is the IRV 34 a good replacement for the IRV 32?I have a Forest River and it just died!

The iRV Stereo # iRV34 will work great as a replacement to your existing iRV32 model. The iRV32 did require a bit of a larger cutout than what's needed for the iRV34, but the two models use the same wiring harness so it would be a really simple install in this regard. It will hold up better than the iRV32 you lost too soon and I think it offers a nicer LED display that's easier to read.

What type of subwoofer do I need to hook up to my existing iRV34? I have the wiring already run from the unit. Does iRV Technologies make a subwoofer for this application?

The iRV34 stereo can provide signal to a subwoofer but it likely isn't enough to actually power one up sufficiently. You'll want to get a separate amp for that - and then just choose a good subwoofer for your application that's rated appropriately for the amp. We don't carry any subwoofers from iRV.
