E4 Error Code On Atwood Air Command RV Air Conditioner

Question:
After about 10-20 minutes I get a code E-4 reading in the thermostat that is attached to the unit Is this ac unit serviceable as in ability to add r410 Freon Thank you

The E4 error code you are getting on your Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15027-22 does mean there is a lack of refrigerant, the compressor is not running, or the thermistor is out of calibration, as you can see in the cut out I added of a guide for this AC unit.
These units are absolutely serviceable, and it is strongly recommended you use a qualified technician as it can be a difficult process.

I had one of these these air conditioners come in today. Customers complaint displays E4 code after 10 minutes of runtime.First thing I always do pull the filter. It was completely packed full of dirt. Test ran the unit for six hours no issues. So it’s possible that a clogged filter can cause an E4 code.
