Reese Goosebox Loses Air After Sitting for a Few Days
Updated 07/27/2019 | Published 07/26/2019 >
Question:
My 16,000# Reese Goosebox loses all of its air pressure after 3 or 4 days while the 5th wheel is unhitched and leveled while camping. I do use a BAL gooseneck tripod stabilizer under the goosebox which works very well in preventing shaking movement. Is this normal, to lose the air pressure?

Expert Reply:
There should not be a loss of air pressure with your Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter like part # RP85FR. If this is occurring then that means you have a leak somewhere. In order to find this leak you will want to inflate the system and then spray down the airbag and fittings with soapy water. If you see any bubbles forming then that means there is leak. If you can let me know which part is leaking I can see about getting you replacements (if available).
