Replacement Motor Conversion Kit for Series 42 Kwikee Steps

Question:

I have a 2000 Country Coach Intrigue with a Kwikee Series 42 step 2 steps that slide out. I have been having intermittent problems for some time, but worse recently. The platform the motor and drive motor are mounted on is solidly connected to the frame, but the arm that moves the steps in and out has a lot of play in it on the shaft. When the steps go in or out the motor surges and after the steps reach their desired position it will continue to surge several times before it stops. I would like to replace the control module and the motor and arm assembly/table, but cant find what I need to do that. Since the step color matches the coach color and mostly the price for a new step assembly, I would like to be able to repair rather than replace. Can you help me or point me in the right direction please? Thanks in advance

I reached out to the manufacturer, who told me the correct part for the conversion kit is the Lippert Components Kwikee Step KIT CONV 42 SER 9510 CNTRL MOTOR (909777000) # LC380266.
