Image Descriptor

This cooktop runs on propane, which is available at most campgrounds and fuel stops. Propane cooking is great for off-grid trips as it is highly efficient, consumes minimal energy, and produces little smoke during cooking. This cooktop is also equipped with safety features to help prevent fires. If the flame does not light or the flame goes out, the shut-off valve automatically stops any additional gas from leaking out and filling your living space.

Very fast on shipping! Exactly what we ordered. Thank you etrailer for the great and fast service.

by:

Great product at a extremely competitive price. Excellent customer service, fast prompt shipping.

by:

Easy install, product looks great

by:

Ordering and delivery was great, the issue is one of poor quality, the stove has the same exact issue that drove us to replace our existing stove. One of the burners is hard to lite and it most often will not stay lit once we release the knob.

I am sorry to hear about the issue with the burner on the stove you received. Typically if there is an issue with the burner not staying lit all the time or taking a while to light it is either with the burner itself or your propane supply. There is a chance that the regulator is not sending enough pressure to the stove in order to keep the burner on consistently. Have you had any issues with your regulator before?

@NickS - yes I just replaced it this weekend as it was leaking so I am going to giver the burner a few more weeks.

by:

We are pleased with our 3 burner unit. We had one of these in a travel trailer a few years ago and it was great. The unit I ordered was for a large green egg table. I do lots of grilling and the 3 burner stove in the same table makes warming or cooking really easy.

by:

Haven't used it yet but great product. Seems to be well made.. Etrailer is on the ball. Fast shipping with just the right amount of notifications..

by:

Installation instructions easy to follow. The unit performs well. It lights easily. Temperature control is superb from full on to low simmer. Clean up is a breeze. Very happy with the purchase.

by:

Generally functions well, easy to clean, happy with the product after a year. The far left burner burns with a more orange flame and leaves soot residue, and also will often not light despite the igniter clearly sparking. I've had a friend tell me it's likely due to it having an improper gas nozzle installed.

by:

Haven't installed this yet so no review on the stove itself but, as usual, e-trailer was excellent to work with.

by:

The cook top arrived as when promised and in great condition. eTrailer has great prices, great selection and fantastic service. And although this item has not been installed yet I know that eTrailer has stood behind the merchandise they have sold me in the past and I am sure if there are issues with this one. Fast delivery.

by:

Very attractive and has a top quality appearance. So far we're very pleased with it! The only suggestion we'd have is that the cast iron burner tops sometimes pop out of position when we're hauling our trailer. Granted, out trailer is an Airstream with no significant suspension so it's a bumpy ride.

by:

It is beautiful and easy to install.
I
would give it a five-star if the valve range was larger for more accurate control of flame.

by:

Great finish and perfect fit. Comes with everything to perform a professional install. Well packaged. Quick delivery.

by:

After a year with this little stove I can give it 5 stars! I still works just as well as it did on day 1. It's a better pick than most two burner stoves because you can actually have two full size pans on it cooking at once.

by:

Outstanding stove. Not quite as good as our $15,000 stove at home but real close!!! Seriously, if you want a real powerhouse stove that you can actually regulate the flame then buy this stove.

by:

works great in our motorhome. dropped right in place where we had our electric cook top.

by:

First one had a defective valve. This one is great.
Awesome customer service

by:

This 3 burner cooktop shipped very fast and we had great communication from the seller and follow up if needed. We have not installed it yet but will update this if needed on usage. It is for a small apartment where a full size cook top would not fit.

by:

Looks great, easy to fit, and seems very well made! The rubber grommets for the grates is a nice touch. Ive only tested it so far but so far so good!

by:

I got this stove to replace an old two burner and there were few choices that were large enough to fill the hole. This stove was a little larger, so I could cut a nice clean hole to fit. It looks fantastic and good hot burners. The major issue is that the burners have no adjustment, and the lowest setting is too hot for a simmer. I have found a work around. If you have this stove get a cast iron Simmer Ring. it raises the pan up a couple of inches and simmer your heart out.

We have used the stove for about 160 days in the past year and have no issues at all.

@Jay I am glad it has been working well for you! That is good to know about the simmer aspect and I am glad you found a work around and hope that heart is simmering away. What kind of trailer did you replace this in?

by:

Excellent construction, looks high-end, at a much better price point. We replaced a 2-burner cooktop with this model and it fits perfectly in our RV. You WILL need an LP Gas regulator, as the cooktop does not come with one.

by:

It went in our new cabin in Mountain View, Arkansas. Arrived on time, good condition, installed easy, works great. Thanks!,

by:

This is a very attractive and quality built stove. I upgraded to t his stove in my tiny house and put the previous stove in my truck bed camper. I was tempted to give this stove 5 stars, but I have a small complaint. As a safety feature, you have to hold the knob in the light position for a few seconds. Several times I have held it in, then let it go only to have the flame go out, so I have to restart the lighting process over. It's only an inconvenience in the big picture, but I do think they could shorten the hold down time.

by:

This is great looking stove and fit well into another custom trailer being built. I have trouble with the first one, wouldn’t light up for nothing, called Furrion tech support and run all kind of test, it must have been a bad one. Then called trailer explain the problem, and they were able to help me with the situation, I had to pay for the shipping back, now that pissed me off... even though it was bought 7 months prior, never was open until it was time to test and place into its place that day, when I found that it didn’t work. Awwww! At any rate shipped it out and they send out a new one about 2weeks later. I’m happy about that now I can start finishing the kitchen area. All in all it was still a good experience from etrailer.

by:

Shipping and delivery were outstanding. The cooktop was easy to install and was exactly what I expected. The e-trailer staff were great and kept me informed of order status and shipping.

  • Is A Regulator Needed For A Trailer's Propane System If There's Already One On The Stove
Yes, you would still need to have a regulator for your trailer's propane system. All RV ovens/stoves typically have a regulator built into them to ensure that the pressure is correct for the appliance. The Furrion RV Cooktop # FGH4ZSASS you were looking at for example, has a one built in as well (pictured below). 1/2 psi is about 11-13" water column, which is pretty standard for the regulator connected to your trailer's propane system. • How To Replace The Ignitor In The Furrion RV Cooktop # FGH4ZSASS
To replace the ignitor # FR58SR for the Furrion RV Cooktop - Propane - Triple Burner - Stainless Steel # FGH4ZSASS you would need to pull the top plate off of the body of the unit. This top plate is held down with a butyl tape so you'll have to pry the top off. Since the metal top is thin and the difficulty of removing the butyl tape is going to be very high both Furrion and myself recommend just replacing the unit completely if changing the battery isn't solving the ignitor issue. • How to Install Replacement Ignitor for Furrion RV Propane Cooktop
Installation of the Replacement Ignitor # FR58SR on your # FGH4ZSASS is not a simple task. First, I recommend checking the battery if you haven't already. The button screws off to reveal the battery compartment. Assuming you do need to replace the ignitor, you will have to pry the top plate off of the cooktop. The top plate is held on with butyl tape. Given the fact that this is thin metal it will be difficult to remove without causing damage so you have to be extra careful. There are...

  • Replacing The Regulator On A Furrion FGH4ZSASS Cooktop
Hello Chase. To replace the regulator on your Furrion # FGH4ZSASS Cooktop you can use the Replacement Gas Inlet Connector and LP Regulator Inlet Assembly # FR97PR. The regulator is easily accessible from on the front left of the cooktop. Depending on how you have it installed you may have to remove the cooktop from the counter. It really just depends on if you have room to get your tools in there to remove it. Removing the cooktop from the counter will definitely make installation much easier.

  • Troubleshooting Low Burner Flame Levels With A Furrion RV Cooktop
Since it's just the Furrion RV Cooktop # FGH4ZSASS that's having the issue it's most likely the built in regulator that's faulty. If you were having issues with other appliances then that would indicate an issue with the regulator for the entire propane system of the trailer.
