Does the Titan BrakeRite Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Plumb into Hydraulic Trailer Brake Lines

I guess the brake actuater has to be plumbed into the brake lines on the hyd. brakes on the trailer I dont see any mention of that step in the instalation instructions

Yes, the Titan BrakeRite does get plumbed into the hydraulic brake lines of the trailer it gets installed onto. Check out the picture I attached that shows this.

I attached a copy of the instructions for you to check out also.

Hey Dennis, I would actually avoid the Dexter actuators and instead go with the Hydrastar part #HBA16 as it's much more reliable and better performing. This is our installers favorite actuator.

Ron that's likely what's causing your issue. Pumps for disc brakes are meant for disc brakes, and pumps for drum brakes are meant for drum brakes. So for your disc brakes, you're going to want to go with the Dexter BrakeRite Electric Over…

Hey Francis, you can email me back the picture of your actuator and I can verify what you have and if the Dexter #DX82KR will be exact replacement. If what you have says BrakeRite on it and you have disc brakes this will for sure be what you need.
