Should Superchips Flashpaq Tuner Stay Plugged In

Question:

Can the super flashpaq stay plug up. Or u should unplug it. Or do it even matter

A performance tuner like the Superchips Flashpaq F5 # SU2845 that you referenced can stay plugged in if you wish but it can also be unplugged after initially setting the tune on your vehicle and it won't cause any issues. In short, after you set up the tuner it doesn't matter if it stays plugged in or you remove it.

Will Flashpaq tuner drain battery if left plugged in??

After a longer period of time the tuner could potentially drain the battery. I wouldn't leave it plugged in long term - especially if you aren't driving the truck too often.

Ok I bought a truck after totalling mine and it has the superchip in it and the chip reader isn't working correctly and it won't update to be able to use it.. and it's stuck in tow mode.. how can I just un do or go around the superchip so my truck runs normal.. I work on the road and it's just sucking down the gas and not going into highway gears like it should and it's draining my wallet faster than I can fill it

@RichardP Hey Richard. Honestly I'd reach out to Superchips directly. With info form the tuner they should be able to walk you through taking it out completely.
