Recommended Power Transfer Switch for Three AC Power Sources

Question:

Hi, I am looking for an automatic power transfer switch that will switch from shore power to inverter or to generator depending upon which is available. Shore power would be the highest priority. So if running on the batteries through the inverter and the generator is started then it will switch from inverter to generator. Then if shore power is subsequently plugged in it will switch to shore power. If all 3 sources are on and shore power is unplugged it will automatically go to generator and when generator is shut down it will automatically go to inverter. It seems like most of what I see is generator or inverter instead of generator and inverter. Any product recommendations you may have for this application would be appreciated. This is for retrofit to a 5th wheel trailer. I have shore power and generator presently but am going to add the batteries and inverter for situations where shore power is not available and there are generator quiet hours. Thanks.

I do have an option for you but none of our power transfer switches will allow you to switch between three AC power sources. However, I do have a way for you to do this but you will need to install two power transfer switches like the Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch part # 34264403 for example. A transfer switch will have a single dominate side. So how the input is wired into the switch will affect how it passes power through, so two switches could be wired as you have suggested using the attached photo. I have also attached our selection of power transfer switches for you.
