Can Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch be Used With Power Control Center

Updated 09/08/2022 | Published 09/07/2022

Question:

I recently purchased the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center PD4135K and installed it in my truck camper. I want to install this automatic transfer switch 34264403 to switch between shore power and inverter power to all my power outlets. How do I wire this to ensure I don't create a continuous loop where my inverter starts sending power through the converter/charger rather than just to my outlets?

I reached out directly to the manufacturer, Go Power, about compatibility of the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 35 Amp PD4135K and the Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch - Plastic Case - 30 Amp - 120V # 34264403.

They sent me the diagram below that I added, and said the following: "The converter would need to be wired into the transfer switch instead of the distribution panel so it only comes on when shore power is applied."
