Dimensions of the Fulton F2 1600 lb Trailer Winch

Updated 07/08/2019 | Published 07/06/2019

Question:

Dimensions on the Fulton F2 1600 lb winch or something that would fit - I have a 1990 Grumman 184 super fish 18.4 aluminum hull with a 90hp force outboard and rollers on the shore lander trailer and it had a DL1400 lb winch on it since new. Handle..pawl...and pin is rusty and I want to replace it. NADA shows weight with motor 1,664 so I would guess anywhere from 2000 to 2200 fully loaded. The bottom of my winch base is 5 x 3-5/8 inch. The bracket where the winch bolts on is 7” long and has 2 holes in line dead center. The bolt holes are 2 3/4 inch dead center so there is only 2 bolts holding the winch on. The DL1400 has a 5-5/8 height to top of wheel and strap just fits under rubber boat stop attached to eye. Need to know what correct size should be and any suggestions you might have on which ones would work. Thanks

The Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch with Strap and Adjustable Handle - 1,600 lbs # FW16000101 you referenced measures 6-1/2 inches high and at its longest is 8 inches, as you can see by the accompanying photo. The base of the Fulton F2 is 6-3/16 inches x 3-3/8 inches, and this winch uses an "Easy Install System" that allows for different mounting hole locations so it will definitely fit your winch bolt hole pattern.

I have added a link to a video review which I strongly recommend checking out, that shows this install system.
