Question:
Can you tell me where the brake switch wire is located on a 2017 GMC Savanna cutaway van.
asked by: Earl S
Expert Reply:
The stop light switch wire on your 2017 GMC Savana Van should be located up under your dash, tapped to the three or four other wires that you need to install a brake controller; power, ground, and brake output. These wires have blunt cut ends and may or may not be labeled therefore you will need to test each wire prior to making connections.
Please note if you will be using the Draw-Tite Activator Trailer Brake Controller part # 5504, you will also need the Brake Control Plug-In Harness part # 20127 which will get spliced into the wires found above. I have attached a help article for you if you need further help.
