I have a 12k/1200 Ib. Equalizer. I need a 1000 Ib. one for my tounge weight. Are the spring bars interchangeable if I bought 1000 pound replacement bars?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can just replace the spring bars and head of your current system to change the weight rating. All you would need is the part # EQ90-01-1099 for a set of bars and # EQ90-02-1000 for the head that are rated lower at 1,000 lbs tongue weight.
