Features to know about

Dial In Trailer Height

Trimax Razor Adjustable 2-Ball Mount

Different trailer tongue heights can leave your trailer sitting nose-high or nose-low. The adjustable drop bar provides 8" of drop or rise with 1" adjustment increments, giving you specific height positions to work with as trailer height changes. Your trailer can be set closer to level before you head out.

Switch Ball Sizes at the Hitch

Moving between trailers with different coupler sizes usually means changing the connection setup. The dual ball mount flips between 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls, keeping both confirmed ball sizes on the same mount. Your setup can move from one supported ball size to the other by flipping the ball mount.

Carry the Load Rating You Need

Heavier trailers put the hitch rating high on the priority list. This mount is rated for 12,500 lbs gross towing weight and 1,500 lbs maximum tongue weight, giving your towing setup defined limits for substantial loads. You can match your planned load against those ratings before towing.

Move the Ball Mount Out of the Way

An exposed ball mount can remain behind your vehicle after the trailer is disconnected. The stow-away function positions the ball mount under the receiver when it's not in use. Your ball mount stays tucked underneath until the next hookup.

Video Transcript for Review of Trimax Locks Trailer Hitch Ball Mount - Razor Ultra Adjustable Steel 2 Ball 2 In - TMX65QR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Trimax Razor Ultra adjustable steel two ball mount for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. So this is an adjustable drop hitch, which basically means that you're gonna be able to fine tune the height of your trailer connection. So everything's gonna stay level while you're towing. This is going to give you up to an 1/8 inch drop or rise. So obviously right now I have this in the drop orientation, and when you wanna use this in the rise position, you'll just flip this over.

So again, eight inches of drop or rise. And you're gonna be able to adjust this in one inch increment. So it's gonna be really easy to dial in the exact height that you need, and it's gonna be simple to get that adjustment. So I'm just gonna take the clip and pin out of the ball platform here. So as you can see, you're gonna be able to easily adjust that height or drop.

And then this does come with a two inch or a 2 5/16 inch ball. So I currently have this on the two inch ball. If I wanna flip over to the 2 5/16 inch ball, it's as simple as that. And then I'll just replace the pin like so and the clip, and then that's how easy this is going to be. So another nice thing is when you're not using this, you can also stow this.

And so showing you that again, you will just put the ball platform behind the shank, just like that. And again, replace the pin in the clip, and then that's going to be great. Because when you're walking behind your truck and you don't have a trailer there, you're not gonna have to worry about accidentally banging up your shins with that ball sticking out there. So that is a nice feature. I'm gonna go ahead and put this back on my two inch ball, pop that shank back in.

And I'm line the holes up to where this is gonna sit a little more level. There we go. Now then replace the clip. So again, this is gonna slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver, and you're going to have a capacity up to 12,500 pounds of towing, and a 1,500 pound tongue weight. So this is gonna be able to handle most heavy duty towing jobs. And I took some measurements before our time together in case you wanted to have a good idea of the size. So from the center of the ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole, we're about 8 1/2 inches. Moving to the center of the second hitch pin hole about 9 1/2 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 3/4 inches. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
