Switch between trailers without swapping ball mounts. This adjustable dual-ball mount fits 2" hitch receivers, helps keep different trailers level, and stows the hitch balls underneath when you're not towing.
When you're done towing, rotate the dual-ball assembly beneath the shank until your next trip. With the hitch balls tucked underneath instead of sticking out behind your truck, you have more room to walk around the back of your vehicle while leaving the ball mount ready for the next tow.
The StowPro receives a liquid A-coat before the carbide black powder coat is applied. Together, these coatings help protect the inside and outside of the ball mount against corrosion from road spray, rain, and year-round towing.
Measure from the ground to the top inside edge of your hitch receiver opening, then measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler while the trailer is level. The difference between those measurements determines how much drop or rise you need to tow your trailer level.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Curt Stow Pro 2-Ball mount for your 2" trailer hitch receiver. Now, this is gonna be a pretty flexible adjustable ball mount that's designed for those who tow different trailers or switch between multiple tow vehicles. This does come with a 2" and a 2 5/16" hitch ball, so you're gonna be able to easily accommodate different trailer couplers all without needing separate ball mounts. In terms of capacity, this is rated for trailers up to 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight, so this is gonna be suitable for a wide range of utility, equipment, boat and camper trailers. And I'm removing this pin and clip here just to show you how easy it is to switch between ball sizes.
So right now I'm at the 2" ball, and then I'm just going to rotate that, and now I'm at the 2 5/16" ball. I'm gonna replace the pin here, make sure I run it through the right set of holes there, just like that, replace that pin and clip, and then we're good to go. So that's how easy it's gonna be to get that ball size that you're looking for. But one of the biggest advantages here is going to be the adjustable height design. So, this dual ball platform is gonna be able to be moved up or down to help level your trailer.
That's going to, of course improve towing stability and reduce uneven weight distribution. So in this orientation, you're gonna get a drop of about five inches. And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a rise of about five and a half inches. So I went ahead and removed the pins and clips there, and I just wanted to show you how easy this is going to be to move this up and down to get that adjustment that you're looking for. And then also this, is able to be stowed when it's not in use.
So you're just going to turn the ball to that orientation, and let me see if I can find the right holes to run this in, and then I just make sure that this is gonna go all the way through here, make sure those holes line up, like that. And hen I'm gonna replace the clip there. And then to stow it, you're just going to flip it back, just like that. And then you'll just line up the holes and then replace the pins and clips. And then this is how it will stay stowed behind your truck.
So, you're not gonna really have to worry about walking behind your truck and accidentally banging up your shins with that ball platform sticking out. So, that is a great feature that's included here. And so, I'm gonna go ahead and line my holes back up here and get this to where I had it. So as I hope you've been able to see, obviously this is going to work smoother when I have this in a trailer hitch receiver, but, just wanted to give you the idea of how easy and quick it's going to be to get the ball size that you're looking for, get the height that you're looking for, and also, when you're not using it, stow it as well. So as I mentioned, this is going to slide into any standard 2" trailer hitch receiver. And this uses a standard 5/8" pinhole, hitch pinhole. This does not include a hitch pin, so you do wanna make sure that if you don't already have one, to pick one up, or of course, I would recommend taking a look at our hitch lock options, just to secure the investment that you made purchasing this on the back of your vehicle. This is built for durability, it features a carbide black powder coat finish, along with a liquid A coat applied inside and out for excellent corrosion resistance. Now on your screen, I thought it'd be easier just to pop up the measurements there of this unit itself. And this is from Curt, as you can see. So if you we inchesre just wondering about size and clearance and things like that, I've got those measurements there for you. But this is gonna be a great item to consider if the specs match what you're looking for. But if you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out, we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
