Will the Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck Adapter Work With a Recessed Hitch Ball on CM Flat Bed

Question:

I have an 03 F350 SWB. I have recently put on an aluminum CM flat bed on it. It has a recessed ball in the bed. Will this convert a ball with offset still work? Thanks,

I went out to the warehouse for you to measure the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5GX1216. The base of the unit that attaches to the hitch ball is 7" long x 5-1/4" wide. Therefore, you need to make sure the cutout you have is sufficient to allow this to not only attach but also rotate with the trailer. The height or distance from the bottom of the coupler to the bottom of the base can be adjusted so I don't think you will have any issues here.

It looks like from the photo that you attached there will be sufficient space for the above to work but I do recommend you measure to make sure.
