Replacement Hub/Drum for Dexter 8-210

Question:

My son purchased a single axle utility trailer with a shortened Dexter axle and the mobile leaf spring, number stamped on the hub is 8-210. Was wondering if there is a conversion kit to replace the hubs and leaf springs to a standard size rim and tire?

I do have an option for you but there is not really a complete conversion kit for what you are looking for. The best option would be to just replace the axle. In order to do this I would need to know what your hub face and spring center measurements are as well as the axle capacity. However, if you want to save some money then we may have a new hub/drum for you that uses a standard bolt pattern. In order to confirm if this is an option I would need to know what bearings and seal your hub uses as I don't have any reference to the number that you provided.

In order to find out what leaf springs you need I would first need to know what type they are, slipper/double eye and then I would need to know the length while unloaded. I have attached a few photos to help with your measurements.
