What Prevents Corrosion Between Reese Puck System and Aluminum Bed on 2019 Ford Super Duty

The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP87FR has a powder coated finish that will resist rust and corrosion with the aluminum bed on a 2019 Ford Super Duty. For the installation you will need to cut some holes in the bed though so to keep that from corroding you need to apply corrosion preventative (like Rustoleum) to the raw edges of the drilled holes (see page 3 of the attached instructions).

Then the Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156 fits directly into the pucks and there is actually a slight amount of space between it and the truck bed so even if you don't have a liner you don't have to worry about any contact. I have attached some photos for you to check out.

Please note that the Reese under-bed rail system is actually the exact same thing that you would get if the Super Duty came with the puck system. The only difference is that the middle puck used for gooseneck towing doesn't come with this kit.
